This is Pastor Salvo and I’m excited you’re accepting my challenge and making a life-changing decision to become accountable! The Bible is clear. God wants us to live pure lives, to avoid sexual sin and to keep our thoughts and desires pure. This isn’t just about quitting a bad habit; it’s about living for God and being the people He’s called us to be.

1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (NIV) tells us, “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” Pornography distorts the beautiful design that God has for marriage, leading people away from the holiness He desires for us.

In Matthew 5:28 (NIV), Jesus said, “But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” This scripture teaches us the importance of maintaining purity not only in our actions but also in our thoughts and desires. Engaging with pornographic content cultivates a mindset of lust and objectification, contrary to the teachings of Christ about love, respect, and self-control.

The Bible also encourages us to be accountable to one another. In James 5:16 (NIV), we are told, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” By joining this program, we are opening our lives to the power of accountability, confessing our struggles, and supporting each other in prayer and encouragement, following the biblical mandate to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

By accepting this challenge, you are choosing to safeguard your mind and heart from the harmful and demonic effects of pornography and walk in obedience to God’s word.
